It depends on what kind of lenses you need in the glasses. Specsavers only cater for the very common lenses. Better get the eye test first and ask for a printed copy of your prescription before deciding where to go.

Sometimes the health funds themselves have their own optical centres who may offer cheaper glasses than the chains, depending on what you're after.
