The place has gone downhill but on par with most East Coast and West coast cities. The Jersey shore is a great place and that it includes Atlantic City but times are tough.

Use the jitney shuttles to explore the casinos. Massive length, try and bike it all, busy areas, but also open quiet areas, plenty of shops, resturaunts. Stop at wet willies get a frozen daiquiri walk and take it all in and enjoy a summer evening on the Jersey boardwalk.
